MeloSpyGUI¶
MeloSpyGUI v1.4 is an already quite mature version of our GUI for the MeloSpySuite. It comprises (most of) the functionality of melfeature, melpat and melconv as well as a bunch of visualization options (piano rolls, bar & scatter plots, self-similarity matrices) which invite to explore not only the included Weimar Jazz and EsAC databases but also your own (monophonic) MIDI and SV files. Feel free to report any bugs with precise descriptions of error circumstances to jazzomat (at) hfm-weimar.de, or to request support. MeloSpyGUI is self-contained and can be installed alongside the MeloSpySuite. See this Introduction to the MeloSpyGUI for a short tutorial on how to use MeloSpyGUI.

MeloSpySuite¶
The MeloSpySuite bundles 3 commandline tools: melconv for converting melodic file formats, melfeature for feature extraction, and melpat for pattern mining. For more information see MeloSpySuite.
We provide Windows 64bit, macOS and Ubuntu GNU/Linux versions. The MeloSpySuite is released under the GPL license.

Weimar Jazz Database¶
The Weimar Jazz Database is currently contained in a single SQLITE3 database file. See Database Format for a detailed description of the format. The Weimar Jazz Database is released under the Open Data Commons Open DataBase License (ODbL).
Download the Weimar Jazz Database v2.1 (DB version 2.2) with 456 solo transcriptions.

EsAC Database¶
We assembled also a version of the well-known EsAC Folk Song Database with 7821 songs for Central, Western and Eastern Europe. It comes as a single SQLITE3 database file. See Database Format for a detailed description of the format. The EsAC Folk Song Database is released with kind permission of Ewa Dahlig-Turek.
